LEGACY IN PT. FORTIN

For the second consecutive year, the Legacy crew and masqueraders participated in the Pt. Fortin Day Borough Day Celebrations. This year the Legacy contingent grew in numbers as word had spread about the great time we all had last year. The party started at Legacy Mas Camp where we met and boarded the “party buses” which were pumping sweet soca music. We met up with the Legacy “south” contingent at Coronation Park in Pt. Fortin, where the Red 96.7 DJ truck took the music to the next level. Legacy created a stir as we paraded down the main road, with Minister Joan Yuille-Williams taking time to greet and congratulate Bandleaders Big Mike and Juliet and the Legacy contingent. Service was at its best as masqueraders were provided with all-inclusive drinks and served snacks while jumping through the streets of Pt. Fortin. The Mayor of Pt. Fortin thanked Legacy for its participation and contribution to the festival. Don’t forget to save your 2008 costume and look out for us again next year!
